Moradabad. A middle-aged man has been brutally murdered by being crushed with a stone in Katghar police station area. The murderers hid the body in the bushes in front of the temple near Gulabbari Bandha on the banks of Ramganga. When Chhotalal, the cleaner of the temple, reached the temple on Tuesday morning, his eyes fell on the dead body. After some time, on information, SP City Akhilesh Bhadauria, CO Katghar Dr. Ganesh Gupta reached the spot. The police reached near the bushes and saw that there was a stone weighing about fifty kilos lying on the dead body. Many marks of stone attack were found on the face and body of the deceased. People nearby identified the deceased as Shyamlal, a resident of Gulabbari and said that Shyamlal lived alone.
Not only this, he did not marry, not only this, he used to spend the day by asking for food from people’s houses and in the evening, he used to get drunk. SP City Akhilesh Bhadauria, who reached the spot, said that after getting the forensic team to inspect the spot, the body was taken into custody and the post-mortem was conducted. He has been sent for and it was also revealed that he was a drug addict. It is possible that he was murdered over a drug dispute. The police team is investigating the entire matter thoroughly. SP City Akhilesh Bhadauria said that yesterday evening it was learned that he had a fight with some people over some issue. In which teams have been deployed. SP City said that the deceased was a drug addict and lived his life like a beggar. In the morning the temple priest saw the dead body and informed the police. SP City said that after committing the murder, the killers tried to hide the body in the bushes but people’s attention fell on the body and a heavy stone was also found placed on top of the body.
