Bhopal (EMS). On the last day of nomination for the assembly elections to be held on November 17 in Madhya Pradesh, 2489 candidates have filed nomination papers. Among these, a large number of BJP-Congress leaders have also filed nominations, who are angry at not getting tickets and are bent on rebellion.

Apart from this, former minister and BJP leader Rakesh Rustam Singh from Morena, former MLA from Nagaud Yadvendra Singh from BSP, former MLA Rekha Yadav from BJP in Bijawar, former MLA from Ater Munna Bhadauria, former MLA from Simaria seat Laxman Tiwari, former MLA from Morena from BSP. Anupam Rajan said that the nomination process which started from October 21 ended on October 30. On the last day, 2811 nomination papers have been submitted by 2489 candidates in all 230 assembly constituencies. Till now, a total of 3832 candidates have filed 4359 nomination forms. The last date for withdrawal of names is 2nd November. Voting will be held in a single phase in the state on November 17. The election results will be declared on December 3.
