The Sensex (BSE Sensex) closed down by 91 points at 57,806.49 today and the Nifty50 (Nifty50) index was seen above the level of 17,213.60, although closed with a fall of 20 points. Top gainers of Nifty 50 index include Eicher Motors, Bajaj Auto, Sun Pharma, Divi’s Laboratory, IndusInd Bank. The stocks which were seen in red mark today are SBI Bank, ITC, Coal India, NTPC and Grasim Industries.

Amara Raja Batteries- The company has decided to invest in the European EV market. It has invested in Innobat. It is a European company focused on leading the research, development, manufacturing and provision of custom-designed premium innovative electric batteries for customers in all types of industries such as the automotive, commercial vehicle, motorsport and aerospace sectors. This investment will help Amara Raja complete the battery giga-factories that are being set up to support the region’s EV push.

Bajaj Auto- The company on Monday announced that it will invest Rs 300 crore in Akurdi, Pune to manufacture electric vehicles. It plans to produce around five lakh electric vehicles annually. The manufacturing facility will employ 800 employees and will be equipped with state-of-the-art robotic and automated manufacturing systems.

52-week high stock- Shares of Sun Pharma, IndusInd Bank, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratory, Titan and Bajaj Finance made higher levels on the BSE Sensex index today. These stocks are likely to remain in focus on Thursday, 30 December 2021.
