The most expensive petrol and diesel available in these districts of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, the price reached Rs 121.96

It is the festive season and the price of everything is skyrocketing. From food and drink to petrol and diesel, the prices are increasing every day. Petrol and diesel prices have been increasing almost daily since the last few months. Today one liter of petrol in Delhi has reached 109.69. Whereas in other metros including Mumbai, diesel has also crossed Rs 100 per liter, while in other metros the price of petrol has crossed Rs 120.

    Cost higher in some states

In fact, there are some districts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh where petrol and diesel prices are breaking all records. These districts are very remote areas where the cost of transport is high and due to this the prices of petrol and diesel are higher than other places. Anuppur and Balaghat districts of Madhya Pradesh are the worst affected. Petrol in Anuppur is Rs 121.96 per liter and diesel is Rs 111.13 per litre. Talking about Balaghat, here petrol is at Rs 120.96 and diesel at Rs 110.22 per liter. Apart from this, the price of oil in Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Bikaner is also much higher than other places.

Why are the oil prices high in these districts?

These districts of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan are in very remote areas. Like Anuppur is a border area. Where the depot petrol-diesel comes from which the distance of the depot is more, the cost is more. Therefore the price here is more than the rest of the districts. Explain that the supply of oil to the petrol pumps of Anuppur is done from the depot located at Shahpura Bhitoni in Jabalpur district, which is more than 300 km from Anuppur. At the same time, oil in Balaghat also comes from the depot located at Shahpura Bhitoni in Jabalpur, which is more than 200 km from Balaghat. The greater the distance, the higher the cost of transport, which directly affects the prices of petrol and diesel.
