Relief in the deadline for ITR verification, know why it is necessary to verify ITR after filing it; what are the ways

ITR Verification: The Income Tax Department has given a big relief to the taxpayers. Taxpayers who have not yet e-verified their income tax returns for the financial year 2019-20 can complete the process by February 28, 2022. The Income Tax Department has extended the deadline for verification, giving relief to the taxpayers. Mere filing of ITR is not enough for the taxpayer. After filling the ITR, it is also necessary to get it verified.

The process of filing ITR of any taxpayer is not considered complete until he gets the ITR verified. If the taxpayer files the ITR on time but forgets to verify that ITR, then the ITR filing process will not be considered complete. In the eyes of the system, you may also get a notice for assuming that you have not filed ITR. According to the information given on the official website of Income Tax Department, any person can get ITR verified with the help of 6 methods. Let’s know what are those 6 ways …
