Top buzzing stock for thursday: Janus Power Infrastructures (Genus Power Infrastructures) has announced that it has received domestic and export orders totaling about Rs 325 crore. These orders have been received from electricity boards and gas meters in all the states, under which the company has to deliver smart meters.
This was stated by Jitendra Kumar Agarwal, Managing Director, Genus Power Infrastructure, in a briefing to the exchange. He said- ‘This order is expected to generate good earnings for the company for several quarters to come. This is also an indication of a strong opening of orders for our industry. We are most glad that orders are coming in for our upcoming segment of Gas Meters which is opening new avenues for our company. The order coming in is also very good for the exports segment as it has good margins and cash flow. In the coming days, we are hopeful that the tender activity will pick up and the pace of execution will also increase.
BigBlock Construction (BigBloc Construction) has announced that it has entered into a Joint Venture Agreement with SCG International India Pvt Ltd. SCG is a subsidiary of Siam Cement Public Company. There are plans to manufacture lightweight concrete panels and blocks through a new joint venture. It has a capacity of about 26 lakh square meters in Gujarat, where maximum construction takes place and the industry is growing rapidly.
Bigblock will hold 52 per cent stake and SCG International India Corporation will get 48 per cent. The total value of this project is Rs 89.1 crore. The construction work of the plant is expected to be completed within a year, after which commercial activities will start.
These stocks touched 52 weeks high
Shares like Pearl Pearl Polymers, Rajshree Polypack, Bhartiya International, Expleo Solutions, Total Transport Systems and Agro Phos India touched their 52-week highs on Wednesday. The focus will remain on these smallcap stocks on Thursday, 16 December 2021.
