In the national capital, gold rose by Rs 455 to Rs 46,987 per 10 grams. It had closed at Rs 46,532 per 10 grams on the last trading day. On the other hand, silver jumped by Rs 894 to Rs 61,926 per kg. The previous day it had closed at Rs 61,032 per kg. The futures prices of both have increased. In the international market, gold was trading higher at $ 1,795 an ounce and silver was flat at $ 23.20 an ounce.
