The central government has decided to give big relief to the employees working in public sector banks. After the decision of the government, the amount of pension to the families of the deceased employees of public sector banks will increase. After the death of the bank employee, the family will get a pension equal to 30 percent of the last salary.
After this decision of the government, the pension received by the family of the deceased bank employee will be from 30000 to 35000, earlier it had a cap of ₹ 9284. Let us tell you that the Secretary of Personnel Service, Devashish Pandey gave this information by holding a press conference.
The Central Government has also decided to increase the contribution of government bank employees to the pension fund. Under the New Pension System, at present, they contribute 10 percent to the pension fund of bank employees and 10 percent to government banks i.e. employers. Now it has been decided to increase the contribution from banks by 40 percent to 14 percent.
Not only this, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that she has asked the banks to work closely with the state governments so that the agenda of One District One Export can be taken forward, while for the states of the Northeast, she has asked banks to work with different states. They have been asked to make different plans for the same, in which they have also been asked to focus on the logistics area.
