Shobhit University: On 26 September 2023, a group of 25 students and five teachers of Shobhit University participated in the G-20 University Connect program organized at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi. Students and teachers from reputed educational institutions from across the country were mainly present in the program. This important University Connect program was addressed by the famous Prime Minister of the country, Shri Narendra Modi.

In the beginning of which the Honorable Prime Minister released four books written on G-20 submission and then while addressing the students, he said that till 2047, India will remain a developed nation of the world and for this, whatever he can do will be done. Will do what has to be done. G-20 University Connect aims to enhance the understanding of India’s G-20 Presidency among the youth of India and promote their participation in various G-20 events. While addressing the Youth Power, the Hon’ble Prime Minister talked about change and described it as a platform for the future of India. He pointed out the importance of the decisions taken there, which are vital for global recovery and the achievement of a common ground among nations.

He urged the students and said that we have to make our country a clean country on coming 2nd October for which your cooperation is necessary. Apart from this, he stressed that now the time has come and we need to be vocal for local. We should use Made in India products in our homes. Apart from this, he stressed on all the students to use UPI as much as possible and also made the people around them aware about it. Understanding the seriousness of the words of the Honorable Prime Minister, Shobhit University took the initiative to organize awareness programs regarding UPI in the villages adopted by the university, for which the students of the university would go to all these villages and create awareness about UPI among the people there. Will run the program. Apart from this, on coming October 2, we will actively participate in the cleanliness program and eradicate the filth around us.
In this session of this G-20 University Connect program, Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Foreign Minister Shri S. Jaishankar, G-20 Sherpa Shri Amitabh Kant, Chief Secretary Shri P.K. Mishra, and UGC Chairman Shri Mamidala Jagdish Kumar also participated and addressed the students.
After the program, the students of the university thanked the Honorable Prime Minister and the Chancellor of the University, Mr. Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra and said that today’s program was very important, today we all have learned a lot from here, for which they thanked the university. .
