Former ambassador praised the foreign minister
Former Ambassador Richard Verma praised S Jaishankar as the architect of modern US-India relations and said that Jaishankar’s efforts have enhanced the US-India strategic relationship. He said that he has known Jaishankar’s capabilities for a very long time. That is why he can say that if there are strong relations between America and India today, Jaishankar is their architect. Without him, relations between the two countries might not have been as strong as they are today.
Biden’s top advisor Neera Tandon said that Indian-Americans have created their own identity in America. Under the government of President Joe Biden, members of this community are in the entire administration. Neera Tandon said that it is because of the strength of the Indian diaspora that we have such a strong connection at the person-to-person and community-to-community level.
