Noida News: After the launch of RapidX train by PM Modi Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) on October 20, now pod taxis, trams and city buses are going to be launched soon. The entire scheme will be implemented in Uttar Pradesh as soon as it gets approval from the state cabinet.
Yamuna Authority made a big plan
Earlier, Yamuna Authority had a big plan to run pod taxis in residential and industrial sectors, now along with them, they are also preparing a plan to run trams there on a large scale. Let us inform that in this regard, Yamuna Authority has sent the detailed project report of Pod Taxi to the Uttar Pradesh Government, work on this project will start only after getting the approval.
Yamuna Authority officials said they are studying several cities for plans to run trams and city buses in their residential and industrial areas. With these transport systems, people from every block of the sector will be able to travel at low cost and without any hassle. For better transport facilities, Yamuna Authority has prepared a plan to run pod taxis, trams and city buses.
City bus service will be connected to each sector block
Yamuna Authority said that city bus service will be connected to each sector block, tram will be operated on every 30 meter wide road. DPR has been prepared for pod taxi in Film City and industrial sectors as well as residential sectors.
In this regard, the Yamuna Authority has allotted land to more than 3,000 companies, some of which have also started production here. After starting the companies in the area, about 2.5 to 3 lakh people will get employment. To improve the poor transport system of Noida and Greater Noida, Yamuna Authority has already started planning to provide better connectivity.
