Punjab News: The Punjab government seems to be very strict regarding the issue of stubble burning in the state. The government has issued many guidelines to deal with pollution so that the environment can be kept safe. In this series, the administration has also issued instructions to all the police stations to curb the incidents of stubble burning. In this regard, Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav has ordered all the police stations to continue intensive patrolling in their areas so that such incidents can be controlled. Let us tell you that yesterday the Supreme Court had expressed its displeasure towards the government regarding the increasing issue of pollution.
Administration’s appeal regarding stubble burning
The Punjab administration has shown its readiness to take cognizance of stubble burning incidents in the state. On behalf of the administration, DGP Gaurav Yadav has ordered all the police station officers to pay attention to their areas. On behalf of the DGP, it has been said that all the police station officers should pay special attention to the incidents of stubble burning in their police station area so that the environment can be kept safe. Apart from this, the administration has also appealed to the farmers to say no to stubble burning and now say yes to clean air. In this sequence, we can definitely make a small effort to keep our precious planet safe.
CM Mann’s appeal
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is also seen continuously appealing regarding the incidents of stubble burning in the state. CM Mann, on his part, has clarified that farmers of the state should not burn stubble keeping in mind the future generations and the environment. He had even said in his social media post that those who burn stubble are burning their children’s share of oxygen with matches in their hands. After the continuous appeal made by CM Mann and the administration to the farmers, it is being speculated that the incidents of stubble burning will be curbed in the state.
