Lucknow News: Women working in Dial 112 have demonstrated in Lucknow, the capital of UP. Their demand is that the salary of the women employees working in Police Control Room-112 should be increased and appointment letters should also be given to all of them. Apart from this, the women employees working for Dial 112 also allege that now the government has given the contract to a new company which is making new recruitments in their place. Amidst this demonstration, the official statement of Dial 112 has come out and it has been said that the services of UP 112 are being operated uninterrupted.
Demonstration took place regarding these demands
Women employees working in the Police Control Room-112 headquarters located near Shaheed Path in Lucknow, the capital of UP, are protesting today with their demands. Let us tell you that these are the same employees who, when people call in case of emergency, ask them how dial 112 can help them. The employees are demanding that their salaries should be increased. Apart from this, appointment letters should also be given to all the women working on contract.
The women employees working for Dial 112 have also alleged that now its contract is being given to a new company which is making new recruitments in their place.
The demonstration lasted till late night
The demonstration of women working for Dial 112 in Lucknow continued till late Monday night. After this, PAC force was also deployed in view of the situation. The women employees, who were protesting for their various demands, alleged that the police even pushed them. It is reported that after the protest by women employees, some women policemen have been deployed to operate the services of Dial 112.
It has been informed from the official handle of Dial 112 that the services of UP 112 are being operated without any interruption. It has also been informed that all the protesting communication officers have been paid salaries till 31st October by the then service provider.
