ICC ODI World Cup 2023 : In the India vs Netherlands match held on Sunday, India defeated Netherlands by 160 runs. With this, India registered its 9th consecutive win. After the match, as per the tradition of the Indian team, a player was awarded the Best Fielder Award. In the last league match of India, the award for the best fielder was given in a very special way. This time the Best Fielder award was won by Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav.
Jadeja left Rahul behind
India’s Suryakumar was given the best fielder award in the match against Netherlands. Coach T Dilip named three players who performed best in fielding during the match. In which the names of Jadeja, KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav are included. Surya won this award leaving Jadeja and Rahul behind.
Announcement made in a special way
In India’s last league match, the Fielder of the Match was announced in a very special way. India’s coach T Dilip brought the entire team to the ground after which the name of the winner was announced by the special guest i.e. the groundsman. Watch the viral video below:

Shreyas and KL Rahul scored centuries in this match. Also, 5 Indian batsmen scored half-centuries against Netherlands, which included captain Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas and KL Rahul.
