During the second trimester of pregnancy, there are many changes in the body, in such cases these marks are often seen on the abdomen, thighs, breasts and hips.
Due to the presence of stretch marks, the skin becomes loose and due to lack of adequate moisture, the skin also becomes dry, which is common to cause itching problems. However, after the birth of the child, with the right skincare routine in time, they start to lighten and gradually disappear.
Dr. Pratibha Babashet, an Ayurveda specialist associated with the Research and Development team at Himalaya Drug Company said, “During pregnancy, there are many changes in the skin, so regular skin care does not make much difference. He has suggested two tips for stretch marks or wrinkles of the skin. First: Massage before sleeping at night and apply moisturizer after bath.
Dr. Pratibha further said, with massage, the blood flow in the body is very good, due to which the marks of wrinkles start to disappear. New mothers can make massage a part of their skincare routine before sleeping at night. For this, they can use olive, almond, sesame oil or wheat germ oil according to their own.
According to him, applying moisturizer to the body after bathing retains the right amount of moisture in the skin, due to which the body remains soft, the problem of itching is also removed and the marks of wrinkles also disappear.
He told that there is also a better option of moisturizer, using which the skin can be benefited a lot.
Dr. Pratibha said, the combination of Almond Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, Olive Oil, Mango Butter, Kokum Butter, Shea Butter and Herbs like Centella, Pomegranate and Liquorice can reduce wrinkles naturally.
