Free health camp organized in district hospital today

Etawah. District Hospital and Shailesh Vatika Blood Donation Camp was organized on Saturday under Seva Pakhwada in which 89 people donated blood. The camp was inaugurated by Sadar MLA Sarita Bhadauria and appealed to the people for voluntary blood donation. Blood bank in-charge Dr. Neetu Dwivedi informed that voluntary blood donation camps will be organized in the district from September 17 to October 2 as part of Seva Pakhwada.
District Hospital Chief Medical Officer Dr Geeta Ram said that under the Seva Pakhwada, 4 special programs were scheduled to be organized from September 17 to October 2. In this sequence, a blood donation camp has been organized on Saturday. He said that a free health camp would be organized in the district hospital on September 18. Apart from this, on September 29, Mega Covid Vaccination Camp, under the Prime Minister’s TB Free Campaign on September 30, Kshaya Mitras will be selected for TB eradication program in collaboration with social organizations. The adopter of TB patients was named Kshya Mitra. He said that free health camps would also be organized in all the community health centers. Jan Arogya Melas will also be organized at primary health centers.
Chief Medical Superintendent Dr MM Arya informed that Physician, Gynecologist, Ophthalmologist, Dentist, Pediatrician will be present in the free health camp organized in the district hospital, which will provide free consultation to the patients for the treatment of various diseases. Along with this, tests and medicines will also be provided free of cost.
