    Eating fruits is good for health. Consuming fruits regularly helps in getting rid of many diseases and also making the body healthy. Some people eat fruits daily for good health but people do not know the right way to eat fruits. People are confused about which fruits should be peeled and which fruits should be eaten without peeling. In fact, the skin of fruits and vegetables often contains high levels of antioxidants, fiber and nutrients. Although the peels of all vegetables and fruits are not edible and tasty, but consuming the peels of some is beneficial for the body.

    Some people say that the peels of apples are thin and tight, which makes it difficult to chew. People also give peeled apples to small children. Shouldn’t do that. The skin of an apple contains about half of the apple’s total dietary fiber. One medium-sized apple also provides 9 milligrams of vitamin C, 100 IU of vitamin A and 200 grams of potassium. You lose about a third of those nutrients by removing the peel. The peel also contains four times more vitamin K than meat. Vitamin K is also found in meat and spinach and other green vegetables. Which helps you to form blood clots and also helps in healing of wounds.

    A banana peel contains a lot more fiber than its pulp and is also rich in potassium. The peel also contains lutein, a powerful antioxidant that plays a role in maintaining healthy eye function. The peel contains tryptophan, an amino acid that reduces depression by increasing the body’s serotonin levels, as well as regulating a neurotransmitter in the brain that affects mood. Although it is advisable to eat banana peeled but if you eat its peel then there is no harm in it.

    The pulp of an orange contains less vitamin C than the peel. It also contains riboflavin, vitamin B6, calcium, magnesium and potassium. Flavonoids in the peel have anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory properties. Citrus fruits also increase the absorption of iron. Orange peels have a bitter taste. You can grate it and take it as a salad.
