Diwali 2023: As the festival of Diwali approaches, there is happiness inside the houses. Diwali is a festival of celebration and enthusiasm for all people. These days, preparations for Diwali are going on in full swing in every house. However, people are eagerly waiting for this festival. Often, children and youth are already purchasing firecrackers. The situation is such that the firecracker shops in the markets are almost ready for Diwali. Keeping security in mind, the Uttar Pradesh Government has given strict instructions to the officials regarding the firecracker business.
Yogi government’s decision during festivals
Let us tell you that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a review meeting with officials in view of the festivals at his official residence on Sunday. This meeting was organized in the context of security arrangements in the state during the festival period. During this, CM Yogi also gave strict instructions to the officials regarding the business of firecrackers on Diwali. The CM told the officials, “Firecracker shops should be set up away from the population. There should be no unnecessary delay in issuing licenses to firecracker sellers. Wherever firecracker shops are set up, fire extinguishers and related arrangements should be ensured. Apart from this, in the meeting, CM Yogi gave instructions to the officials of the electricity department and said that in view of festivals, there should be no unnecessary power cut in urban or rural areas of the state. It should be regularly reviewed by the officials themselves.
Those who spread chaos during festivals should be dealt with strictly.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath told the officials that November 10 is the festival of Dhanteras. On this day, every Sanatani comes to the market and definitely does shopping. In such a situation, the crowd of people in the markets will increase. During this period, one has to remain active in an alert mood to avoid incidents of activity and looting by unruly elements/crooks. Also, state CM Yogi has asked the officials to increase foot patrolling and actively check CCTV cameras. In the meeting, the CM told the officials that free LPG cylinders will be distributed to the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of Diwali. While giving instructions to the concerned officials in this regard, he said that Aadhaar verification of the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana should be done in time.
