To make Chicken Chettinad, first of all make a paste by adding onion, ginger, garlic, fennel, red chilli, cumin and coconut. After that you have to cut the chicken into 16 equal pieces. Add the prepared paste to the chicken and mix well. After this, heat oil in a pan. Add cinnamon stick, cloves, cumin, cardamom and fry well. After that add onion and curry leaves and fry well. You have to fry it until its color turns brown.
Then add chopped tomatoes to it. When all the ingredients are fried well, add turmeric and turmeric powder and cook for 10 minutes. After that add salt as per taste. Add salt, cover it and cook for a while. According to your food, you can also add red chilli or black pepper in it. Finally add chopped coriander on it. Your delicious Chicken Chettinad is ready.
