New Delhi: For the first time an Indian company, Emil Ayutveda has been conferred with the Best D2C Award for its unique innovation of taking Ayurveda based beauty products directly to consumers. Many domestic and foreign companies were in queue to get the award in this category.
Dr. Sanchit Sharma, Founder, Emile Ayutveda, was presented with the Best 2C Brand of the Year-Omnichannel Strategy Award late on Wednesday night at the Innovation Summit organized by Indian Retailer in Bengaluru. Emil Ayutveda was started some time ago, the credit goes to Sanchit Sharma. Ayutveda’s products like Charcoal and Gold Facewash, Aloe Vera Gel etc. are based on Ayurveda.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the D2C range of beauty products has been well received by the customers. These products not only enhance beauty but also improve the health of skin, hair and also protect against infections.
Nowadays, there is a trend in the companies to deliver their products directly to the consumers. But beauty products made from plants of medicinal importance in Ayurveda are unique in themselves. Emil Ayutveda has launched them in the market through the D2C platform. This includes online sales and select outlets of the company. In this process, there are no distributors, wholesalers and retailers between the product and the consumer, so both the company and the consumer are benefited. Product prices remain relatively low. The company has a high degree of accountability towards its customers, thereby ensuring supreme quality.
