Asian Games 2023 : India performed brilliantly on the 10th day in the ongoing Asian Games in China. India won another gold in athletics on Tuesday. India’s daughter Parul Chaudhary won gold in 5000 meter steeple chase. This is India’s 14th gold in the Asian Games. Earlier, Vithya Raj won the bronze medal in 400 meter hurdles.
Parul won the gold medal for India with a timing of 15:14.75. Parul won the gold medal by defeating Hironaka of Japan.
India’s third medal in athletics
India’s stellar performance continues in the Asian Games. Parul Choudhary, who won gold in the 10th 5000m steeple, gave India its third gold medal in track and field. Earlier, Tejinderpal Singh Toor won gold for India by throwing his best shot in shot put. Whereas Avinash brought glory to India by winning gold in 3000 meter steeple.
Talking about the 10th day, in the India vs Nepal match, India defeated Nepal by 23 runs and entered the semi-finals. Star boxer Loveleen secured silver and made it to the finals. India has 64 medals in Asian Games 2023. Out of which 14 gold, 24 silver and 26 bronze medals are included.
