UP News: The government running under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh seems committed to the facilities provided to the students. In this sequence, once again information about the government giving smartphones to the youth has come to light. The official ‘X’ handle of the UP government has said that under the Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme, the government is going to once again start the scheme of giving 25 lakh smartphones to the students from October.
It is reported that in its first phase, 375000 smartphones of companies like Samsung and Lava will be distributed to the students. For this, an amount of Rs 372 crore has also been approved. In this regard, the Industrial Development Department of the government has issued all the necessary orders and sent this information to the companies.
Smartphone distribution will start from October
If reports are to be believed, the government will be able to start distribution of smartphones to students from the month of October. During this period, 375,000 phones of Samsung and Lava will be distributed in the first phase. For this, the government has sanctioned approximately Rs 372 crore. The government is preparing to distribute a total of 25 lakh smartphones by including several other phases. There is news regarding this smartphone being distributed by the government that more than 3900 courses/programs will be pre-loaded in it which will prove to be very helpful for the studies of the students. Students will be able to avail the benefits of all these courses free of cost and they will not need to pay any kind of fee for this.
25 lakh smartphones will be distributed under this scheme
Let us tell you that under the Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme, the UP government will be able to distribute 25 lakh smartphones to the students of the state in the coming time. For this, the government has also signed agreements with four tech companies. There are reports of 784314 smartphones from Vision Distribution Company, 441176 smartphones from Instant Procurement, 686275 smartphones from Celcon Impex and 588235 smartphones from NF Infratech. Regarding this, let us tell you that the government is spending Rs 9972 per phone. This information has been officially released by the UP government.
