The trailer of Vicky Kaushal and Manushi Chhillar starrer film The Great Indian Family has been released. The makers released the trailer of the film on their social media handles on Tuesday. Like its name, Vicky Kaushal’s film is going to be a family entertainer.
Vicky will play the role of a bhajan singer
The trailer starts with Vicky Kaushal’s entry, in which he tells that this story is about a city named Balrampur. People in the city know him for singing bhajans and kirtans. His real name is Ved Vyas Tripathi and people know him as Bhajan Kumar. He belongs to a family of Pandits and there has always been a tradition of conducting pujas and bhajans and kirtans in his family. People across the city consider him the star of bhajan-kirtan.

The story of the film is related to family and religion.
Bhajan Kumar says that the reason he is in this profession is that women and girls touch his feet. She always looks at him from the perspective of a priest or a worshipper. No girl comes into his life. The twist in the story comes when the family members of Bhajan Kumar i.e. Ved come to know that the child whom they had adopted in their home years ago was not a Hindu but a Muslim.
