The captain returned to the pavilion after scoring 43 runs. Rohit sat playing the wrong shot. India got a second blow on 92 runs. The team was not even able to get out of this shock that the third blow occurred in the form of Pujara on 93 runs.
Pujara out in an uppercut
Only one run could be added to India’s account between the wickets of Rohit and Pujara. That too got one run due to Cummins’ no ball. Pujara went after throwing his wicket. He started trying to play a little aggressively on Cummins’ ball. In an attempt to apply Pujara uppercut, Carry was caught behind the wicket. He was dismissed for 27 runs. When India needed a big partnership, Pujara lost his wicket by playing a bad shot.
