South Africa’s Temba Bavuma scored a century
Chasing the target of 336 runs given by the West Indies, captain Temba Bavuma played a brilliant century innings of 144 runs for South Africa. In this innings, he also hit 11 fours and 7 excellent sixes. Bavuma shared an excellent 76-run partnership for the first wicket with opener Quinton Dickock in the match. Dickock was dismissed after playing a stormy innings of 48 runs in 26 balls.
Even after this, Bavuma continued to handle one drop but he got support from the rest of the batsmen, due to which the entire South African team was reduced to 287 runs.
West Indies bowlers showed amazing
The West Indies bowlers wreaked havoc on South Africa with the bat. Alzarri Joseph and Akil Hussain took three wickets each in the match. Apart from this, one wicket each came in the account of Kyle Mayers, Yannick Kariah and Odin Smith.
