Why Kuldeep Yadav has become the most dangerous spinner, understand from Irfan Pathan

Kolkata: Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav showed excellent bowling against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Kuldeep bowled 10 overs in the match and took three big wickets in which he spent 51 runs. In the match, Kuldeep got a chance to play in place of Yuzvendra Chahal. Team India’s former fast bowler Irfan Pathan also praised Kuldeep for this excellent bowling and told why Kuldeep has become more dangerous than before.

Actually Irfan Pathan has shared two pictures of Kuldeep Yadav. One picture is of 2019 and of the match played against Sri Lanka on 12 January. With these two pictures, Irfan has explained how he has made his bowling sharper by changing his run-up.

Irfan tweeted and wrote, ‘Kuldeep Yadav has changed the angle of his runup, due to which he is getting help in throwing the ball at a faster pace. This is an excellent job done by him.

Kuldeep is not getting continuous opportunities

It has been seen for some time that Kuldeep Yadav has not got continuous opportunities in the team. He has been in and out of the team. Many times it has also happened that even after joining the squad, he did not get a chance to play in the playing XI.

If we look at Kuldeep’s figures in the year 2022, he has got a chance to play in only 8 ODIs in which he has taken a total of 12 wickets. He didn’t even get a chance to play in the first match of the three ODI series against Sri Lanka.

Kuldeep’s career for Team India

Kuldeep Yadav made his debut for Team India in the year 2017. Since then he has played 8 Tests, 74 ODIs and 25 T20 Internationals for India. He has registered a total of 34 wickets in Test cricket. While he took 122 wickets in the ODI format, Kuldeep took 44 wickets in the T20 International.
