Remember the date 24 October 2021, on this day after two years India and Pakistan team will be face to face in the World Cup. This will be the first match of both the teams in the 2021 T20 World Cup, both the teams would like to start their T20 World Cup with a win. The people of both the countries are multiplying on the fact that whose team is stronger, after all, who can beat whom? Till date, Pakistan has not been able to win against India in the World Cup, due to which half the math has been solved as to which team is stronger.

Before today, India and Pakistan have played against each other five times in the T20 World Cup, in which India has won all five times. If we also talk about the total matches played between Pakistan and India, 6 out of 8 matches have been won by India, while Pakistan has managed to win only one match and the rest one match was washed away in rain. So in this respect also India is heavier than Pakistan.

Statistics of all matches between India and Pakistan in T20 World Cup

    First match 14 September 2007

In 2007, when the first T20 World Cup was played, these two teams were facing each other for the first time in T20. These teams met each other in Durban on 14 September 2007, when the match ended, the scores of both the teams were equal. After which the match came out through a ball out, in which India defeated Pakistan 3-0.

    2nd match 24 September 2007

The final of the 2007 World Cup was in front and India and Pakistan could have been more thrilled than this. This match was tied, but in the end India won. India won this match by 5 runs and with this won their first T20 World Cup.

    Third match 30 September 2012

Both these teams were ready to play once again in Colombo, Sri Lanka, bowling first, India restricted Pakistan for 128 runs and won the match by 8 wickets very comfortably.

    4th match 21 March 2014

This match played in Dhaka, Bangladesh was also in India’s name, India bowled out Pakistan for 130 runs and won the match by seven wickets.

    Fifth match 19 March 2016

In Kolkata, these teams were face-to-face for the fifth time, this time Pakistan’s team was reduced to less than 120 runs but India did not win this match easily. Pakistan had tied India till the end, but India managed to win the match by 6 wickets.

These five matches are proof that India has always dominated the Pakistan cricket team, it remains to be seen whether India will be able to maintain its dominance this time too or will Pakistan do some miracle this time. The answer to this question will be found on October 24, who will prevail over whom.
