In the heat of the game, the players of both the teams came face to face. It is being told that while chasing the ball during the match, a player from Chennai collided with a player from Hyderabad. Meanwhile, an argument started between the two. On seeing this, the players of both the teams clashed with each other. There was a lot of uproar during the fight between the two teams.
Many players were seriously injured in this brawl between the teams of Chennai and Hyderabad. The tournament organizers separated the players after a long struggle. The match referee, as per the Laws of the Game, showed red cards to one player each from both the teams and both the teams were ejected from the tournament for breaking the rules. It is being told that till now both the teams had played 9-9 matches.
In this fight, many players have suffered such serious injuries that they had to be carried out of the field by being carried on a stretcher. At present, the organizers have thrown both the teams out of the tournament.
