New Delhi: Two weeks have passed since IPL 2023 ended. For the last few days, the discussion was only about the World Test Championship final, in which India had to face defeat from Australia. Now once again T20 cricket is ready to grab everyone’s attention and it has already started. In the very first match of the new season of Tamil Nadu Premier League, IPL final star Sai Sudarshan continued his explosive style and played a blistering inning.
The seventh season of TNPL started in Coimbatore from Monday 12th June. Many prominent players who have made their name in IPL are also playing this season. In this, most eyes are on 21-year-old young batsman Sai Sudarshan, who performed tremendously for Gujarat Titans in IPL.
Sudarshan’s bat thundered even in TNPL
The left-handed young batsman, playing for Lyca Kovai Kings, made a tremendous start to the tournament, maintaining the same rhythm as the final of the IPL. Sudarshan, who played an explosive inning of 96 runs against Chennai Super Kings in the final of IPL, also scored 86 runs in just 45 balls in this match.
Sudarshan rained runs in the second over against iDream Tiruppur Tamilans and got out on the last ball of the innings. During this, Sudarshan hit 8 fours and 4 sixes. Sudarshan’s team won by 70 runs
Sai Sudarshan’s innings could not give victory to his team Gujarat Titans in the final of IPL 2023, but Kwai Kings definitely got success here. The Tiruppur batsmen could not stand in front of the Kovai Kings bowlers and the entire team was bundled out for just 109 runs.
