Personal enmity with KKR!
For the first time in the year 2012, Kuldeep Yadav was given a chance by Mumbai Indians, but Kolkata Knight Riders gave him real recognition, where he stayed from 2014 to 2021. In 2018, KKR bought him for 5.80 crores, but this year he got only two crores. Got a chance in 9 matches in 2019. In the same season, he was thrashed against RCB in such a way that tears welled up on the field itself. He went on to become India’s most expensive spinner in the IPL after conceding 27 runs in one over and a total of 59 runs in his quota of four overs. In 2020, the team included him in the playing XI in 5 matches. But not a single match was played in 2021. In 2022, Kuldeep Yadav was added by Delhi.

Somehow Delhi won
Delhi beat Kolkata Knight Riders by four wickets in a rain-curtailed match to register their first win of this IPL season and keep their playoff hopes alive. Delhi, who had lost the last five matches, had to win this match at any cost to stay in the race for the playoffs. KKR could score only 127 runs while batting first. Delhi chased down the target by losing six wickets with four balls to spare in a match that started after an hour’s delay due to rain.
