Jadeja dominated fielding
Ravindra Jadeja dominated the fielding as soon as he returned to ODIs. He caught Australia’s Marnus Labushen jumping in the air at backward point. Stoinis cut the fourth ball of Kuldeep Yadav’s 23rd over. Fielding at backward point, Jadeja caught the ball by leaping in the air on the right. Labushen’s bat scored only 15 runs in 22 balls.
big wicket taken in bowling
Ravindra Jadeja did wonders in fielding as well as bowling. He took the wicket of Mitchell Marsh, who was batting explosively for Australia. Coming out to open the batting, Marsh scored 81 runs off 65 balls. He was heading towards a century but Jadeja got him caught by Siraj and sent him to the pavilion. Marsh hit 5 sixes along with 10 fours.
character missing
When Ravindra Jadeja was injured, Akshar Patel used to be part of the playing XI in his place. But Akshar did not get a chance to play in this match. Both are players of the same type. For this reason Akshar Patel had to sit outside. Jadeja returned to the field after injury from the Test series against Australia itself. He also received the Player of the Series award in the 4-match Border Gavaskar Trophy.
