Deadly bowling of New Zealand

Sri Lanka needed to win all the three matches of the current series to qualify directly for the ODI World Cup to be held in India later this year. New Zealand has already qualified for the World Cup. The second match between these two teams will be played in Christchurch on Tuesday. The third and final match will be held in Hamilton on Friday. After this, both the teams will play a series of three T20 Internationals. New Zealand had earlier won the two-Test series 2–0.
