Speaking at a press conference, Akhtar discussed Pakistan’s pace battery of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf and described Shaheen as the best bowler in the world. Shoaib said that obviously, these youth are very talented. I am very happy that Pakistan is able to produce such fast bowlers again and again. I don’t know what is the reason. Firstly, there used to be a lot of fast bowlers from Punjab. Now there is one from Rawalpindi and two are Pathans. He said that Pathans are very, very strong and tough. So, this Pace battery reminds me of the old days. Shoaib said that I would consider Shaheen Shah Afridi as one of the best fast bowlers in the world at the moment. He is at the peak of his career right now.
