New Delhi: Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar remains in the limelight even after his retirement. Akhtar does many shows, does commentary, and also appears in advertisements. Even after retiring together with Kula, he is earning a lot of money. But he has not yet returned Rs 250 to Saqlain Mushtaq. Shoaib had taken this money long ago but even after years he has not returned the money. Saqlain has openly said this on TV and has asked for his money.
Akhtar told many times that his life has been full of struggles. He comes from a family which was not very strong financially. But now he is earning handsomely. During his playing days, Akhtar had borrowed money from Saqlain on a tour, which he has not yet returned.

Saqlain has disclosed this on Sama team’s show ‘Had Kar Di’ and told that Akhtar has not returned Rs 250. Saqlain told that he and Akhtar were in Karachi and Akhtar’s friends were staying here. He did not have money then. Sakalan told that he had 250 rupees. He told that Akhtar saw a film after which he became fond of buying new clothes. They asked Saqlain for money and brought clothes from Tariq Road.
Saqlain told that the boys of other teams used to run away from Akhtar fearing that he might ask for loan money. Saqlain said that till now Akhtar has not returned that money. Saqlain, however, said all this in jest. Saqlain and Aktar are childhood friends.

Shahid Afridi would have been a watchman
On this show, Saqlain has disclosed about another great player of Pakistan, Shahid Afridi. On this show, he was asked what would have happened if Afridi had not been a cricketer. Saqlain first laughed at this and said leave this question, but when the host of the show forced him, Saqlain laughed and said that if Afridi was not a cricketer, he would have been a watchman.
Saqlain also told the reason why he said this. He told that once all the cricketers were sitting, including Waqar Younis, Shahid Afridi, Mushtaq Ahmed, Mohammad Yusuf. All of them were discussing the same thing, what would have happened if there were no cricketers, and then Afridi said that he was a cricketer. Had he not been there, he would have been a watchman.
