Rajasthan Royals could not score 155 runs, after the defeat, Sanju Samson told where they lost the match

Nicholas Pooran (29) and Marcus Stoinis (21) shared a 45-run partnership for the fifth wicket to take the score past 150 runs. For the Royals, experienced off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin (2/23) was the most successful bowler while Trent Boult (1/16) bowled economically. Samson said after the match, ‘Of course not feeling very good but we need to take lessons and move forward. Given the batting line-up we have, this should have been a target. He bowled well, used the conditions well but I still believe that this target was achievable.

Regarding the pitch, the Royals captain said, ‘I was expecting something like this low-bouncing pitch and I think that is what we got. We need to play sensible cricket and we were in a very good position till about 9 to 10 overs. We just needed one big over in the middle overs. They bowled well and lost wickets when we tried hard.
