New Delhi (HS). Top Indian shuttler PV Sindhu met Apple CEO Tim Cook at a launch event in California and shared pictures taken during the event on social media.
Apple on Tuesday unveiled its next generation iPhones and the event was held at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, US. Two-time Olympic medalist Sindhu also participated in the program.
Sindhu shared a selfie with the Apple CEO on Instagram and termed the moment as “unforgettable” and also proposed to play badminton with Cook during his next visit to India.
Sindhu wrote on Instagram, “An unforgettable moment meeting Tim Cook on the day of the keynote at Apple Cupertino! Thanks for having me, Tim. It was a pleasure to see the wonderful Apple Park and meet you! When you come to India next time, I will gladly accept your offer to play badminton.”
In a separate post, Sindhu shared pictures of her conversation with Cook and wrote: “I find myself immersed in the Apple keynote event that promises innovation, excitement, surprise and of course a great conversation. Thanks Tim Cook.”
