The 23-year-old Prithvi, who played his first international match in 2018, has so far played 5 Tests, 6 ODIs and only one T20 International match. He scored a century in his debut test match against the West Indies.

379 runs in Ranji

Prithvi Shaw played an inning of 379 runs in the Ranji Trophy match against Assam this week. This is the second highest innings by any Indian batsman in first class cricket. After this innings, the discussion became so much that the selectors had to give him a place in Team India.
