At the same time, due to excessive fireworks, the air quality index goes up due to which the NCR region including the capital has to face smog and other types of pollution. In this sequence, this time GRAPE (Graded Response Action Plan) has been implemented in Delhi as well as Noida. Delhi government had recently informed about its implementation in the capital.
GRAPE (Graded Response Action Plan) will be implemented from October 1
There is news of implementation of GREP (Graded Response Action Plan) from October 1 to control air pollution in Noida. It is being said that under this, restrictions will be seen increasing in the area. With the air quality index rising from 201 to 300, the traffic police will launch a campaign to stop diesel and petrol vehicles that have expired. If the air quality index reaches 301 to 400, then preparations have been made to stop pollution at the already identified hot spots. After reaching its third stage i.e. from 401 to 450, there will be a ban on the operation of BS 3 standard petrol vehicles and BS 4 standard diesel four wheelers. If the air quality index is more than 450, only vehicles registered outside NCR will be allowed entry here. In this sequence, it is being said that with this step pollution can be controlled.
Grape will be applicable in the capital Delhi also
Let us tell you that along with NCR, there is news of implementation of GRAPE (Graded Response Action Plan) in the capital Delhi also. Regarding this, it is being said that with the beginning of October, the air of the capital and NCR becomes polluted. That is why here also measures are being taken to avoid pollution by implementing GRAP from October 1. Under this, there will be some increase in restrictions in the city and changes will be seen in many other rules ranging from vehicle operation. Delhi government has already issued a notification regarding this.
