Veda lost her sister Vatsala Sivakumar (42) to the pandemic two weeks later. Announcing her wedding on Instagram, the veteran of 48 ODIs and 76 T20 Internationals said, “This is Amma (mother) for you.” Your birthday will always be special.
Sister also died, looted love for her too
Ved also remembered his late sister saying, ‘Love you akka (sister).’ Veda and Arjun completed their wedding rituals in a simple ceremony at the sub-registrar’s office in Bengaluru. The couple, dressed in simple attire, signed the documents and announced their marriage in the presence of a few family members and close friends.

He also wrote to his partner Arjun, ‘Meri jaan ab teri hui, dhyaan rakhana (My love, now I am yours, take care of me)’. The wedding pictures uploaded by Veda on her Instagram handle have gone viral on social media. Everyone is praising his simplicity.
