Played only 7 matches in entire career
Tejashwi started his cricket career in the year 2009. The debut match was against Tripura in T20 match. Then neither he got the bowling nor the batting opportunity from the Jharkhand team. In the same year, he also got a chance to play a Ranji match against Vidarbha, in which he scored 1 in the first innings and 19 in the second innings. He has played only seven matches in his entire career, including one Ranji, two List-A and three T20 matches. During this, only 37 runs came out of his bat and took one wicket.
Played for Delhi Daredevils in IPL
Between 2008 and 2012, Tejashwi was part of the Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) team for four seasons. However, he was never placed in the playing-11. He has also played with Virat Kohli in Delhi’s Under-17 and Under-19 cricket team.
PM Modi gave advice to lose weight
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had come to Bihar in the closing ceremony of the centenary year of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. During the same program in Patna, he had given an advice to Tejashwi Yadav, then Leader of Opposition, on the go. The advice is that he should reduce his increased weight, after which Lalu Yadav’s little Lal started playing cricket by making a chair in his house as a wicket.
