While playing against RCB, Umran bowled at a speed of 152.95 which is the fastest ball bowled in IPL this year.
Umran’s three deliveries are included in this year’s list of the ten fastest deliveries, taking just two matches to do so. Apart from Umran, the names of Loki Ferguson and Arich Nortz are also included in the list. Talking to Bhuvneshwar Kumar on the IPL website after the end of the match against RCB, Umran Malik shared that when he went for the Under-19 trials in 2018, he didn’t even have the kind of spice. . During that time, Umran’s friend gave him his spices, with the help of which Umran was able to conduct the trial.
