The first match of the T20 series between India and New Zealand is to be played today at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. India’s command will be in the hands of Rohit Sharma, while on the other hand New Zealand’s command will be in the hands of Tim Southee, not Kane Williamson.
Kane Williamson has been rested for the T20 series, he will be seen in the Test series between India and New Zealand. The Indian team has also rested Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami for the T20 series.

An international match will be played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, after almost eight years, Rajasthan Cricket was not given the opportunity to host any international match from nearly one spectator in the past due to administrative crisis.
