This innings was very special in itself, but with this he also broke a record. 15 year old record. Vivrant’s 69 runs is the highest score made by any Indian batsman in his first innings in IPL history. He broke the record set by Swapnil Asnodkar in 2008, who had scored 60 runs.

Vikrat himself used to bowl spin with his left hand and after seeing his elder brother, Vivrant also started bowling spin with his left hand and later on he followed it. Vivrant was a net bowler in Sunrisers till last season, after which Sunrisers bought Vivrant in the auction for Rs 2.60 crore.
