Gill-Saha’s strong start
Gujarat batted first and like almost every match of this season, Shubman Gill (39) made a blistering start. Gill, however, got relief in the second over itself when Deepak Chahar dropped a simple catch. Gill could not play a big innings but added 62 runs for the team while batting fast in the powerplay. Dhoni stumped him off Ravindra Jadeja in the seventh over.
