Akash Madhwal wants to take 10 wickets (PC:iplt20)
New Delhi.Akash Madhwal did wonders against Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator of IPL 2023. He not only did wonders, but also created history. This young bowler from Mumbai took 5 wickets for 5 runs in 3.3 overs. He single-handedly took Mumbai to Qualifier 2. After the victory of Mumbai, Madhwal told in a conversation with Suryakumar Yadav that what was the conversation between him and captain Rohit Sharma in the hotel before the match, after which he bowled the best in the history of IPL playoffs.
Talking to Surya after the match, he said that he was working very hard, but he is not too happy with his bowling. He wants to bowl better. Madhwal had said about excellent bowling that Surya trolled him. Surya immediately said whether he will take 10 wickets now. The Mumbai batsman said that Madhwal has been saying that he wants to take 10 wickets, but his brilliant spell came at a time when the team needed it the most.

Madhwal said that he often focuses on length, which was advised by Rohit Sharma. The young bowler from Mumbai said that he and Rohit had a plan in the hotel before the match and both had discussed about it. In the hotel itself, Rohit told him about the condition and what he should do.

Mindset was clear
Madhwal said that his mindset was clear because of the conversation at the hotel. Madhwal has taken a total of 13 wickets in 7 matches in this IPL so far. He took 4 wickets against Sunrisers Hyderabad before taking 5 wickets against Lucknow.
