Indian team is full of enthusiasm
India is in full swing at the moment, because it has defeated big teams like Australia and Pakistan in the last 3 matches and that too in a one-sided fashion, whereas Bangladesh is coming after losing its last two matches. While Bangladesh lost by 137 runs to England, it lost to New Zealand by 8 wickets. In such a situation, it can be said that India will have the upper hand in the match. Apart from New Zealand, India is the only team in the tournament which has remained undefeated so far.
India will take revenge for the previous defeat from Bangladesh
The Indian team led by Rohit Sharma will also take revenge for the previous defeat against Bangladesh in the match. In fact, both the teams last met in the recently concluded 2023 Asia Cup. India had won the Asia Cup title in a tremendous manner, but before that it had lost to Bangladesh by 6 runs in the last match of Super 4. The Indian team will take revenge of this defeat from Shakib Al Hasan and Company.
India prevails over Bangladesh in ODI World Cup
The good thing is that India has prevailed over Bangladesh in the ODI World Cup. India’s record is quite good. Both the teams have clashed 4 times on this big stage, in which India has won thrice, while Bangladesh has won only 1 match. In the last World Cup match held in 2019, India defeated Bangladesh by 28 runs. Earlier in 2015 and 2011, India had defeated Bangladesh in a one-sided fashion.
There have been two major changes in this World Cup within 12 days. While Afghanistan has defeated England, Netherlands has defeated South Africa. In such a situation, India would not want to take Bangladesh lightly. Talking about the team, there can be a big change in the playing-11 today. Ravichandran Ashwin can play in place of Shardul Thakur.
