New Delhi: The Indian cricket team is going to play the final of the ICC World Test Championship for the second time where it will face strong Australia. This match will start from June 7. It has never been easy for India to play in England. The conditions here bother the Indian batsmen a lot. In such a situation, India will have to prepare well before the final. Meanwhile, former England spinner Monty Panesar has said such a thing about the pitch of The Oval, which India can get relief from hearing.
Panesar has also named that Indian batsman who can become a challenge for Australia. According to Panesar, Cheteshwar Pujara is the batsman who can prove to be the X factor for Team India.

Pitch is fast and bouncy
Talking to the news agency PTI, this former left-arm spinner has said that the conditions of The Oval are similar to Wankhede Stadium i.e. fast and bouncy. He said that India’s top order is in form. He said that his X factor would be Pujara as he has recently done well in English conditions in Sussex. According to Panesar, Pujara is such a batsman who keeps the batting line-up tied.

Panesar said that Pujara’s defense is very good, so if the ball moves a lot, he can handle the Australian bowlers and if the pitch remains flat, then the rest of the batsmen can take advantage of the opportunity.

created a ruckus in the county
When the rest of India’s cricketers were playing in IPL-2023, Pujara was scoring runs in county cricket. While playing here, he would have adjusted well to the English conditions and hence he would be the main link of the Indian batting. Pujara was playing for Sussex and scored three centuries in six matches. A half-century has also been scored there.
