Advice from Pakistan for the Indian cricket team. (BCCI photo)
New Delhi: The Indian cricket team has not won any ICC trophy since 2013. Now Team India can end this drought. India has to enter the final of the ICC World Test Championship from June 7 where it will face Australia. Before this match, former Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram has given special advice to the bowlers of Team India. The former Pakistan captain has said that Indian bowlers will have to be patient while bowling with the new ball.
Indian players are currently coming to the Test Championship after playing T20 cricket for almost two months. In such a situation, it can be difficult for the Indian bowlers to handle the red ball after the white ball, that too in the conditions of England. Akram hopes that in the presence of an experienced fast bowler like Mohammed Shami, Indian players will come out on the field with good strategy.

Akram’s advice will be useful
Akram is counted among the great bowlers of the world. The ICC has written to Akram that Indian bowlers have experience but they should not be too careless about the new ball. Akram said that the new ball swings for 10-15 overs, so being a fast bowler, he has to avoid giving extra runs. Akram also said that Indian players should not get too enthusiastic if the pitch bounces as this is what Australian players also want.

This may cause trouble
For the first time in the history of 140 years, this is happening that the Test match at The Oval ground is being played in the beginning of June. This ground usually hosts Test matches at the end of the English summer. That’s why the pitch and conditions here can be different. Regarding this, Akram said that whenever he visited England, the oval pitch used to favor the teams of the subcontinent. Akram said that this month is of June and he had played matches at Oval in August and September in the tours he had done.
