Smith played an excellent inning of 101 against the Adelaide Strikers on 17 January. After this, in the very next match, he scored an unbeaten 125 against Sydney Thunders, while on 23 January, he played an explosive inning of 66 runs against Howard Hurricanes.

In such a situation, it is clear from the way Smith is batting that this is not good news at all for Team India. Because if a batsman like Smith bats with his form, then he takes great care of the bowlers. In such a situation, the Indian team will have to make a different strategy for Smith so that his bat can be curbed.

In such a situation, looking at these statistics of Smith, Indian bowlers will definitely have to be careful with him and try to prevent him from scoring runs by getting him out as soon as possible. Although, looking at the kind of form he is running in, it is not going to be that easy.

Border-Gavaskar series schedule

The Australian team has to play a four-Test series on the tour of India. The first match of the series will be played in Nagpur from February 9 to 13. While the second Test match will be played in Delhi from February 17 to 21, the third Test match will be played in Dharamshala from March 1 to 5. And the fourth and final match will be held in Ahmedabad from March 9 to 13.

After the Test series, both the teams will also play a three-match ODI series. The first ODI between the two teams will be played in Mumbai on March 17, while the second ODI will be played in Visakhapatnam on March 19 and the third ODI in Chennai on March 22.
