Warner is not fully fit, while Alex Carey has to return to the hotel. He is ill. In the match, India’s acting captain Hardik Pandya won the toss against Australia on Friday and decided to field first.

Regular captain Rohit Sharma is unable to play in this match due to family commitments. India have included wrist spinner in the form of Kuldeep Yadav in the playing XI. Ravindra Jadeja will play the role of the second spinner. Australian opener David Warner is not fully fit yet and Mitchell Marsh will open the innings in his place.
